Timo Boll Spirit is one of the best selling composite blade by Butterfly.
It has the same layer composition as Butterfly Timo Boll ALC, Butterfly Viscaria and Butterfly Zhang Jike ALC, materials: Koto – ALC – Limba – KIRI – Limba – ALC – Koto.
This is an excellent blade for looping style, also for serving and spiny attack. It’s also excellent for flat hitting.
It has a large sweet spot, perfect touch and control and also gives enough speed to finish points.
It’s outer Koto plies gives you a clean, crisp, and fast counters and loops. Loops are
fast and don’t dwell very long on the blade.
The handle is also awesome.
I will only recommend this blade for advanced players.
If are you a newbie I wouldn’t choose this blade. My advice is, choose a slower blade for control and learn proper techniques to generate power and speed.
